19.11.18

Today in the workshop we used a new tool known as sandpaper, they sandpaper was both white and yellow, the color's described the roughness of both sandpapers. I work on getting the indents off my stone.I grooved a line to help the koru get a sharp shape

22.11.18
For our group stone carving project we have looked up ideas and have found one that we all like.
it is two koru with a maori stair case engrave into it. To us it means a new life and we have two fern that could represent a mother and her baby a new beginning and new life growth, strength and peace

Waihanga Tuhinga

I am Titaha the left arm of the glasses
I am Nysten the right arm of the glasses
I think we feel like sticks
Our body is a very distinctive colour
We Need to learn a bit more English so we can
communicate with each other
Everyday we hear people talking about how they know how to speak
good English and we get very jealous
At night we always fight with each other because feel so weird.
We really like the smell of earwax and we also enjoy the taste of our
owners sweat after he does his work out. I think me and Nysten need
to have a wash because we smell like human saliva.
And the lenses keep complaining on how were so talkative and how
the rest of the body has   to sit on a nose all day everyday. And we
also use the lenses as our beds because it very comfortable and the
desk ain’t comfortable at all.

KO Titaha ahau te ringa maui o ngā mohiti.
KO Nysten ahau te ringa matau o ngā mohiti.
Ki aku whakaaro he rakau ta maua ahua.
Me ako maua i te reo Ingarihi kia korero tahi maua ia maua.
Ia ra ka rongo taua ki nga tangata e korero ana me ta maua puhaehae.
I te po ka whawhai maua kia maua i te mea whakapairua  maua.

Tino pai te kakara o te taeturi me te reka  hoki o te kawa
tŌtā o ta maua kaitiaki i muri i tana kori tinana. Ki aku whakaaro
me uwhiuwhi taua ko Nysten i te mea he haunga ta maua
kakara hawera tangata. Me te amuamu nui o nga mowhiti raro na
to taua ngutu nui me te mea tino pouri ia, na te mea me noho ia i
runga i te ihu o ta matou kaitiaki ia ra. Ka whakamahi hoki taua
ko Nysten ii nga mowhiti raro hei moenga mo taua.
